Free Local Paper’s “Adult” Ads

One of the classified ads in the “Servicios Para Adultos,” appearing in  the April 14 issue of “El Especialito,” a 60-page Spanish language newspaper distributed free in Sunnyside, features the title, “Asian Paradise Chinesse (sic) – Korean on Queens Boulevard Sunnyside, NY.”

When the cell number displayed on the “Asian Paradise” ad was called, the voice mail was full.

I walked past the “store” on 40th Street and it is very suspicious looking. I wish the police would investigate. Where there is smoke, there is fire.

Did anybody hear about a doctor’s office in Skillman being broken into? I am trying to find out if it is true, if so, then it would be part of a pattern. Would somebody please wake up the 108th?

The address of the alleged massage parlor is 45-09 40th Street. I don’t know if alerting the NYCPD would accomplish anything. There are no exterior signs of a business of any kind being conducted there. However, an awning for the previous TV repair shop is still in place. According to New York City Property Search, the site is part of a corner parcel with the address of 40-02 Queens Boulevard, owned by Ownership Realty Corp. (which seems like a front for someone who prefers to remain anonymous).

“Covered with drapery” – so people can’t see in. As for the “cubicles”, you can imagine what is going on in there. We seem to have figured this out, but the police have not? Do we have a Vice Squad at the 108th?

I’m sure the “customers” are not buying tvs! And what are the police doing about this?

The picture lloks like it is s photoshopped with the image of the face of a young girl placed on the body of an older, more mature female. It’s hard to tell if the massage parlor on 40th Street has taken over the entire TV/appliance store, and I don’t know what the inside looks like, but it appears to have a regular number of customers up to about 10 PM at night.

We complained to the 108th about the cards that were given out by Cafe 46 and the response of the 108th was that it was a ” free speech issue” and that they could not do anything! I beg to differ: prostitution and pimping are crimes and I will bet you that many of these girls are underage and possibly here illegally as well. Why don’t they call the number and “ask for a date” and make an arrest? But then again, this is the same precinct that ignored the crack house on 47th Street for years and was even annoyed that people dared to complain! And then people say that I am negative about the neighborhood. Now you know why!

Isn’t that “massage parlor” on 40th Street in a space formerly occupied by a TV and electronics repair shop? The door and display window are now covered with draperies. Someone told me that the interior has been divided into five or six cubicles, with a fancy reception area at the front. This is located just south of the recently opened Oasis eatery.

Wake up people, there’s an Asian massage parlor which has been operating on 40th Street, just south of Queens Blvd, for over six months.
