Jan. 17, 2024 By Ethan Marshall The amount of reported cases of robberies and felony assaults across Queens have each risen over the last month compared to the same period of time a year ago, according to the latest crime stats released by the NYPD Monday. During the 28-day period from Dec. 18 to Jan. 14, reported robberies have increased 51.3% in northern Queens, from 117 cases the previous year to 177 this year. During the 28-day period from Dec. 4-31, the number of robberies rose 54.2% in northern Queens, from 118 cases in 2022 to 182 in 2023.
