Victoria’s Pizza II, located at 43-46th Street, has gone out of business, according to a sign placed in its window. The business had been put up for sale months ago. In July, the business was listed at $135,000.
Two stores on 44th Street, between 43rd Ave. and Queens Blvd, have closed. Boost Mobile, which was located at 44-01 Queens Blvd, closed earlier this month. Meanwhile, Cinco de Mayo Market, a Mexican food retailer situated at 43-43 44th Street, has ceased operations.

Flynn’s Inn, a traditional Irish-American pub, closed its doors for good recently when the owners decided not to renew their lease. The pub’s furniture and bar equipment was thrown in a dumpster, according to a neighbor. The pub was located at 43-13 Queens Boulevard.
Sleepy’s the Mattress Professional has bid Sunnyside goodnight by closing its store at 43-10 Queens Blvd. For those interested in a good night’s rest, the company still has a nearby store in Woodside– at 48-15 Queens Blvd.
