Just a thought on the headline… why does the editor assume that only “Ladies” would be interested. I’ve noticed that Arriba Arriba is a welcoming place for all orientations. So with that, I think we can drop the gender of those who would be interested.
Gee, I used to love eating in “Arriba Arriba”. My son even took me, and my wife, there for a Father’s Day dinner. But, after seeing this ad I think I’m gonna stop going.

Apparently, Arriba Arriba is going after a more progressive, open-minded, adult crowd. And I agree – this is obviously targeted at women and men of varying sexual persuasions. I whole-heartedly suggest an “and Gentlemen” be added to the headline.

Naked and restaurant are an unsanitary combination regardless. I thought it was unlawful to have nude employees where food is served.

Arriba Arriba has loud music blasting until wee hours every weekend. Now can look forward to Tuesdays as well. (Or maybe it’s just the 4th of July Eve?)
But it seems cool/fun.
I’m uncomfortable with this. Granted “Naked Tuesday” seems to be only for one day, but this is barely one step removed from the sort of “adult” business activity nobody should want to have around here. In fact, an openly “adult” establishment probably couldn’t be located right out there on Queens Boulevard (I suspect). I really hope the restaurant isn’t experimenting with turning into a front for a business that probably will net them more money than their burritos.
Sigh. There is a time and place for this stuff…but I’m pretty sure that place shouldn’t be the same as the place where I get my chimichangas.

I really enjoy Arriba Arriba, and think this is “up their alley” considering they seem to attract all different types of people.
I don’t mind it, and may give it a try assuming the happy hour on margaritas is still going on

How about a cabaret license for naked dancing…how far from a school do you have to be to have naked dancing… what is the law…does anyone know… we have to get naked to get business… you have kids coming out of burgerKing do the parents have to subject their kids to this….

I exceedingly doubt they will actually be naked.
Besides, they have tinted windows if I recall correctly. The place itself is very dark.
Arriba Arriba has been a good neighborhood spot. This isn’t some seedy place I’d worry about.
I hope that this establishment will not engage in gender discrimination by limiting topless dancing to male only. There are several lovely latina ladies who are employed there and would make wonderful topless entertainment, thereby helping Arriba Arriba satisfy its legal obligations.

This is really inapropiate , specially echen sunnyside is a Family neighborhood , not a hippie trend singles spot. Honestly there are a lot of respectful families that would not like to see their wife’s or daughters attending to such class of events. It will bring a different type of environment to the area. Totally against it , and I’m not even 22
Arriba attracts a mixed crowd and it’s a fun and friendly spot. Many bars in the New York have Ladies night event and I don’t see why this place cannot advertise a ladies night. I think they can do some events; nevertheless, it’s always a restaurant open for everybody!
The nighttime scene at Arriba Arriba is not my thing, an I din’t think their food is anything special. However, as long as their patrons don’t cause trouble for the neighborhood, I don’t care if they have topless guys serving tequila shots.
I have to ask – is Sara Vallejo actually Raquel? Their language usage is almost identical. And if not, then it appears that Raquel had recruited and indoctrinated her very well…
