Woodside on the Move gets $20K to combat graffiti
Woodside on the Move –a grass roots organization that promotes Woodside as a place to work, live and do business– has received $20,000 to fund the organization’s graffiti removal and other area beautification projects.
Councilman Jimmy Van Bramer and Congressman Joseph Crowley secured $10,000 each in city and federal funding.
Want to get rid of graffiti? Flog the vandals in public like they do in Singapore. Make the graffiti vandals clean up their own mess while wearing pink ballerina outfits. Go to their own homes and spray paint crap on their living room walls. Just a few suggestions.
$20K to a group for something the city will do for free anyway by calling 311… nice.

That’s present day politics for you. No more George Washingtons, Thomas Jeffersons or Ben Franklins, men of great and noble ideas that stand the test of centuries. Being a politician now is all about who can haul as much loot from the public purse as humanly possible.
I agree with noclevername (which is a clever name). 20k could go to so many other programs… home care for the elderly (which has been severly cut) for one.
