They forgot the mention the 33-year old Thalia Spanish Theatre on Greenpoint Avenue, the only bilingual Hispanic theatre in the borough and the only performing arts venue in Sunnyside. Winner of the 2009 Mayor’s Awards for Arts & Culture, for crying out loud. They cite MoMA-QNS, which apparently is only open for a couple of hours on Mondays by appointment, but not an award-winning theatre that’s been producing year-round for over 3 decades.
