Northwest Queens Unemployment rate is low
The borough of Queens’ unemployment rate was 9% at the end of the third quarter, lower than the citywide average of 10%, according to a new report.
The report, released by the nonpartisan research group Fiscal Police Institute, also revealed that Northwest Queens, which includes Sunnyside, had an unemployment rate of 8.3%.
