Sunnysider Killed by Woodside Resident
A Woodside resident faces multiple charges for shooting two men, one fatally, in Sunnyside last month.
Gino Florencia, 31, who resided on 54th Street in Woodside, has been charged with murder, assault, and criminal-possession-of-a-weapon, police said.
The shooting took place at 9:00 am Saturday, Oct. 24, in front of 45-55 48th Street. Edison Vera, 25, died of a gunshot to the chest at the scene, while Miguel Llanos, 25, is recovering from gun shots to the torso and arm.
Florencia was originally picked up by Orlando police on Oct. 27 and then extradited to the 108 Precinct on Oct. 29.

Glad they got this thug before he could get any further. However, it would probably help if the 108 patrolled that area once in a while. I probably see a patrol car go through the area once a week, if that, aside from the constant meal trips to Pio Pio.
