Arrest Made for Sunnyside Murder

Cops have made an arrest in the murder of Michelle Lee, the crime lab worker who was found last month in her bedroom with a knife sticking from her throat.
Gary McGurk, 23, of 48-56 58th Place in Queens, was charged with Lee’s murder, according to the NYPD.
Cops had used a full-court press in the investigation, putting up a $12,000 reward.
“The case obviously caused great concern and upset throughout the department,” Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said at the time. “I can assure you this is very aggressive investigation.”
Lee’s body was found by her roommate. The medical examiner ruled that Lee was killed by a blow to the head with an iron.
Authorities believe the 24-year-old was stabbed, burned on the stomach with the iron and tied up afterward because her killer wanted it to look like she had been tortured or had been the victim of a sex crime.
What was the relation betweeen Lee and this guy.
She was killed by an ex-boyfriend.
